What's on this site is general guidance for Palm Coast homeowners, not a verdict on your tree.

Every tree is its own case

Put two trees side by side with the same dead branch and the right fix can be completely different for each. The species, how old it is, what the roots are doing, which way it leans, how close it stands to the house or the power lines, the soil, and whatever the last storm did all shift the answer. So nothing you read here counts as a risk assessment of your tree, an arborist's report, or advice about the tree in your yard. Only a qualified arborist standing in front of the tree can tell you whether it wants pruning, cabling, removal, or to be left alone.

About the dollar figures

The prices listed on the service pages and in the guides are ranges, there to help you budget for a typical job in Palm Coast or elsewhere in Flagler County. They aren't quotes and nobody's promising to hit them. What a job costs depends on how big and how sound the tree is, where on the lot it's standing, how easily equipment can reach it, whether a crane has to come, whether you want the stump ground, how much gets hauled away and whether a permit is involved. The real price is whatever's on the estimate we put in writing.

The pictures

The photos you see here are there to illustrate. They show the sort of trees, problems and work the words describe; they aren't offered as before-and-after shots from a particular customer's property in Palm Coast.

No promises about how a tree will respond

We can't guarantee an outcome. How a tree reacts to being worked on comes down to its species, the weather, the soil, disease, cuts made years ago and how it's looked after afterward. Trimming and cabling lower the risk without taking it away. Whatever warranty covers your job is the one spelled out in the signed agreement between you and the contractor doing the job, and any manufacturer's warranty carries its own terms and registration rules.

Who actually does the work

Jobs that start on this site are carried out by independent contractors. Read our referral marketing disclosure for how that arrangement works and how those contractors get paid.

Mistakes and changes

We try to keep every page current, but things change and we occasionally get something wrong. Spot an error or something stale? Tell us and we'll fix it.

If there's a tree down right now

A tree or branch resting on a power line is a job for the utility company or 911, and nobody, you included, should get close to it. If a tree has come down on top of the house, or a broken limb is dangling above the driveway, a walkway or somewhere the kids play, keep everyone out from underneath and give us a call.

Still not sure?
