Terms of service

The plain-language terms behind every quote and job.

Who we are

Palm Coast Tree Co. is a locally operated tree service company based in Palm Coast, Florida, operating under a City of Palm Coast business tax receipt. Tree work is performed by crews carrying general liability and workers' compensation insurance for tree work; a certificate of insurance is provided on request before work begins. Florida does not license tree services.

Quotes

On-site quotes are free, itemized and valid for 30 days. Prices on this website are typical ranges for planning only; your written quote governs.

Permits

Where a City of Palm Coast or Flagler County tree removal or land-clearing permit is required, we apply for it in the property owner's name and it is listed on the quote. Where a tree qualifies as a danger under Florida Statute 163.045, our ISA Certified Arborist may provide the required documentation in place of a permit; the arborist's professional judgment is final on whether a tree qualifies. Homeowner-association approvals are the owner's responsibility; we supply what the committee asks for.

Contracts, deposits and payment

Work begins only after a signed written quote. A deposit may be required for crane work or lot clearing; the balance is due on completion unless the quote says otherwise. Change orders (for example, hidden decay requiring a crane) are priced in writing before extra work proceeds.

Emergency work

Emergency call-outs are billed at the rate quoted by phone and confirmed on site before cutting. We document storm damage for insurance on request, but coverage decisions belong to your carrier.

Weather and safety

Tree work is weather-dependent. Scheduled dates may move for lightning, high wind or saturated ground. The crew leader may stop work if conditions become unsafe; a partially removed tree is always left in a stable condition.

Site conditions

The homeowner is responsible for identifying private irrigation, septic, low-voltage and pool lines; we call Sunshine 811 for public utilities before grinding. Access for equipment must be available on the scheduled day; pool-cage panels are removed and replaced by us when access requires it.
